Well I never expected Maureen to do us any favours but the Yids have just beaten Leicester 3-0 😲😁

So that's evened out our goal difference and us with a game in hand against the Hammers on Wednesday. 😁

Just posted in the FA Cup thread by mistake lol

A 1-1 draw for United and a 5-3 defeat for Chelsea sees us in 3rd place by Goal Difference, Leicester in 4th and Chelsea in 5th a point behind us two.

Only a win against Wolves can get Chelsea Champions League football next season because their Goal Difference is screwed. If they draw they'll end up in 5th place regardless of the result of Leicester vs United. If they lose they're also obviously screwed. 😲

A win will guarantee us 3rd place. 😎😁😎

Leicester are pressing Matic and both of our full backs out of the game so far ☹

Chelsea go 1-0 up just before halftime and a flurry of chances missed by United sees us going in level, 0-0.

That puts Chelsea in 3rd and us in 4th as things stand right now. A win for Leicester will see us in 5th place, and needing a Europa League trophy win to get Champions League football next season.

2-0 to Chelsea now and the United game could go either way, it's quite a tight game so far.

Penalty for United and Brunooooooooo puts it away! 😁😎😁

0-1 to United.

Just before the drinks break too so good timing. That puts us back in third and Chelsea in fourth place as things stand.

A straight red for Evans, that was a leg breaker 😲

Looks like Villa have stayed up, means we won't get Grealish on the cheap ☹

And a second goal from Lingard of all players. Hopefully his final goal for United 😝😂

And that's full-time, final score 0-2 and third place for United. Not bad for a team that was 8th around Christmas 😎

I told ya we'd do it jman 😁

I told you that we would get a top four place at the end of the season when we were in 8th place in December.

And getting Champions League football means that it's going to be easier to sign the likes of Sancho.

For 5 out of the last 7 seasons since Fergie retired we've had a defensive record of a side capable of winning the Premier League, we've just been short of goals. An extra 20+ goals per season would have seen us winning a few Premier League titles 😎

If we add Sancho to the forward line of Rashford and Martial with Fernandes behind them we've got a good chance of winning the Premier League next season if we're lucky with injuries.
