I don´t know if this happens also with managers from other countries, but two nights ago i entered in the server at 2:30, and a few minutes later the site was down. Continue down from 2:30 to 3:05, and after i finally logged in, and a few minutes later games were played, and i din´t set up even advanced tactics.  This has happen to me other times, and sometimes i just have a few minutes to set up tactics.
I´m tired of this, and i´m leaving the game in the end of this season. My friend Pedro, from Rapid Lisboa, will continue with the team.

Very sad to hear that you are leaving 

There are always problems with the game unfortunately. It's very frustrating when you can't log in. It's a terrible shame because the game would be so good if it was run properly.

Hi Chico,

I am very sad to hear this will be your last season but in all honesty, I do not blame you at all.
I really need that XMAS break off in which I am hoping it will be at least a 2 week break and not a few days.

Normally from my past experience of setting up near to K.O time for division games.... I was never able to log in between 00:45 - 01:30 UK time which I believe is one hour behind you.
Since taking a break last season, I have hardly logged in during or after that time so I am not sure if that problem still exists but if I had to guess, it is still.

The site is awfully slow certain times during the day for a reason that I don't know. Before yesterday, I couldn't log in for over 30minutes because the site would not respond at all and this was one hour before afternoon games (around 14:00 and lasted till 14:30).

Unfortunately, SL is a lost cause and everyone knows this. I'm sad to say but the game is dying day by day and it will only be a certain amount of time were a major problem will happen and will not be able to be fixed due to the old script and coding language currently used.

Chico, you are a legend of the game and I always wish you the very best!

Usually the hour that i have problems its between 00:45 and 1:00. I always avoid those hours, but so close than the start of the games never happened to me, and never had a period so long like this time. Usually its about 15 minutes.
My team will be in good hands, my friend Pedro is a great manager, and the team still have 60k.
Maybe i will comeback somewhere next year, you never know

Same problem here in NZ. I only have a small window to set-up. If i miss that window i'm screwed. Been playing for 14-15 years, and like to at least compete, but afew problems are making me think that it just isn't worth the hassle. I love playing the game, but i'm getting more than a little miffed. Also hope the game is down for abit longer over Xmas, so the game can be given a good overhaul.

  With having my eight teams and The Friendly League and Friendly League Cup, I spend a lot of time "logged in " to the game between midnight and five pm every day. I have the trouble between 12.45 and 01.30am which is a well known problem. I also have trouble most days as soon as the 3am games are played. I either cannot get on at all "Resource limit reached etc" or if I do get into the game it is so slow that it is not worth trying to set up anything. By the time I get from one page to the next, I have forgotten what I have done on the previous page. Even when I report the problems, Game not played, broken and /or forum down, I never get any reply from Junior. I used to at first but nothing for quite a while now. There are a few Managers running various competitions, helping to keep the game running, for the benefit of Junior but Junior doesn't seem to be bothered whether the game is running or not.

The lack of basic communication is one of the biggest problems. Look at the home page, the game will close for a few days over last Christmas!!!! It wouldnt have been hard to update that page. The odd update would make the game feel that it actually is being looked after

It sucks to hear you're all having the same problem. I used to get 'resource limit' a lot when I first re-joined and found it very frustrating. Now I don't get it as much, but I usually just login in the morning for 15 minutes or so to set my teams up, and at some point in the afternoon to check my scores and change some training around and that's it.

I think everyone here knows, we could all try and login one day and this game is gone with the management running it, so I try not to invest too much time in it. I think it's been mentioned in the past the reason the bugs etc, aren't fixed are because this game is ran on a old IT system, which can take god knows how long to fix, but there's been advances in IT which can make and run a game a lot simpler than what SL1 is run on. It's got to the point now, where I wouldn't mind if this version of SL1 was ditched and re-made with the updated technology, so the bugs can be fixed, and it can be played properly without the login errors. We'd all lose our history, but I would happily trade that for a game that works. But without investment from the management that run this game it will never happen. It's very frustrating because their is not another game out their like Sunday League (I've looked!).

It'll be sad to see you go Rockline, you were one of the first people to welcome me back this year. Hopefully you'll be back again soon  and we can play a few more games if you choose to return.

Junior has had several offers of help from folks on here over the years and has failed/refused to engage.

It's sad really as SL could be rebooted into a stable platform with a continuous improvement model.

I have been having more problems and so wrote to Junior. Here is his reply: "I actually upgraded the server capacity and speed yesterday! It's got something to do with the firewall, but I can't figure out why it is doing this.

I'll clear any blocks now-please let me know if you get any issues-anytime. I'm going to see what they can do to stop this happening- the server is running well within capacity , so it's not overloaded at all" Many Thanks.

Back to me. Junior is trying to sort it. I'm frustrated as well having had no access for 2-3 days then access, then I lost access again this morning. Back in at present, I hope it's sorted this time.

What would be useful is to report any problems your having to Junior, now whilst he is asking for your feedback. Also if the work on the game that he is doing/done has helped iron out any problems, please use feedback to let Junior know he is on the right track and helping.
