Commiserations in the EC final Mihai against a very tough and strong team and I know you will try to bounce back in the CS final.
I remember losing 2 major finals with my Gelatos a while back, it does sting but you will get over it soon

i think you get out of this game what you put in, so I can't expect too much, but at least I'm improving :-)

Right I’ve decided to bite the bullet and start trying to take this game seriously again, hopefully I’ll be competing at the top again in a couple of seasons!

Gents can someone explain to me the benefit behind using subs at ko??

Looking at last nights result, which under usual circumstances I would think is a perfectly fair result but then you look at it and an injured keeper and playing with 9 men for the last 24 minutes I would’ve expected to score despite the TA!
Does it not take injuries into consideration when you have no subs left and just presumes the player carries on or is it purely because of team strength and TA countering having 9 men

Subs at the beginning of games has been around for a while, Brads.

Two reasons:

1. An injured player(s) rarely affect results
2. A player out of position will almost always affect results

If three subs are made at KO this will eliminate the chance of an out of position player getting subbed on.

Long term injuries to GKs sustained during the game can affect results, although on this occasion Mihai's GK picked up a 1 week injury which wasn't severe enough to have a negative impact on his performance.

You can always use a player with one week injury instead of a player out of his position.

I bet it’s been a good 5-6 years since I last tried to play this game seriously, it’s nice to know that after what….20 odd years there’s still little quirks being found!

I seem to be finding all sorts of weird things now I’m studying games again.
The last time i played seriously it was 451 or 523 and every other formation was considered a waste of time! I now see that players have experimented with and been successful with all sorts of formations, makes the game interesting again!

Mihai it’s nice to be back and interested in the game again rather than just coming back to catch up with everyone, hope to battling at the top again soon like the good old days
