There was nowt wrong with THAT one. Maguire finally scores from a corner with his slab head.

Apart from that early howler United have been the better side in these opening 25 minutes.

De Gea with an injury. Looks like he nearly dislocated his shoulder. Looked bloody painful but he stays on.

United get a VERY soft penalty 😲

And Fernandes' penalty was saved! Justice done there I think.

Still 1-1.

Their keeper has been carrying a groin injury for a good few minutes now and we're not putting him under any sort of pressure. So frustrating 😲🤬😡🤬😲

Wow. What fantastic goal. Has to be a candidate for goal of the season by Fernandes and Rashford with the assist.

1-2 to United and 3 minutes plus injury time to go. 😲

And Wan-Bissaka gets number 3 and another assist from Rashford. 😎😁😎

That has to be a United win now.

1-3 😎😁😎

And Rashford makes it 1-4.

A great performance from United after going a goal down in the second minute of the game.

28 attempts on goal, 14 on target for United, Newcastle managed 7 attempts on goal and 4 on target. Their keeper, Farlow, was the MOTM by a mile, could have been 6 or 7.

No idea why Brucie didn't take him off when he was injured though. Not that I'm complaining 😂😝😂

So that's a goal and two assists from both Fernandes and Rashford. And Fernandes messed up a penalty too.

Both Maguire and Lindelof looked solid at the back again, and we only conceded a goal due to a freakish deflection.

Looks like power hungry Liverpool and Manchester United are pushing for a European Premiership still.

The idea sounds terrible though. Only 5 countries involved across Europe, they’re are some great teams in the Nertherlands, Belgium and Portugal to name a few who wouldn’t be involved. Not that I’d watch any of it, the only European matches I have watched over the last 10 years is Champions League finals and that’s only coz it’s free.

The current Champions League tournament works fine, nothing needs replacing with it. Just a bunch of billionaires who are bored with there football clubs it looks like.

Three changes for United from the side that beat PSG and Ollie has picked the side that beat Newcastle last week:

De Gea

Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw

Fred McTominay

Mata Fernandes James

Rashford

And our bench is ridiculous:

Henderson, Pogba, Cavani, Greenwood, Matic, van de Beek, Tuanzebe 😲😂

No Telles though and only one defender. 🤔

Good luck to jman and drags later on 😁

Quite a tight game so far, chances very few and far between in these first 30 minutes.

Both Fred and McTominay working well together in the middle.

0-0 at halftime and United have had more and the best chances with a couple of decent saves preventing Chelsea from going behind.

Still quite a tight game though.
