Nice.. PP giving away an enhanced 7/2 special on Bobs Worth to win the gold cup.. worth a punt - £10 max bet.

I'm done betting now.. all of it on Day 1 - with just that £10 on Bobs Worth on the last day.. if I win anything on the 1st day I might have a look at whats going on Day 2/3 aswell - Just need Quevega to come in to break even more or less :-X

Supreme Novices Chase - Vautour - 3/1
Champions Hurdle - Hurricane Fly - 11/4
Mares Hurdle - Quevega - 4/6
National Hunt - Suntiep - 9/1
Gold Cup - Bobs Worth - 7/2

You've just thrown away your cash mate, Hurricane Fly is going to get swatted. Why..? Because I've stuck a tenner on it lololol. William Hill had 6/1 for a limited time but I missed out on it...so stuck a tenner on at 2/1ish. They'll probably shoot the bugger tomorrow, Georgie Porgie is going to be having him for dinner next week lololol :o :( :P

Its got a awesome chance to win it for a third time.. but have to say.. this year, it has some real tough competition..

Quevega is the one you want to get on.. won the mares hurdle 5 years in a row..will make history today for being the first horse to win the same race 6 times in 6 consecutive festivals.. at 4/6 its a decent price.. the odds reflect that the horse doesn't really race very much outside of Cheltenham though.

Edit :

Added two more horses to Day 1 - because coral sent me an email, bet £5 get a £5 free bet, so got a horse to follow in pretty much each race now.

So today I've now got :

1:30 - Vautour (3/1)
2:05 - Champagne Fever (3/1)
2:40 - Time for Rupert (14/1 - E/W - Freebet)
3:20 - Hurricane Fly (11/4)
4:00 - Quevega (4/6)
4:40 - Suntiep (9/1 - E/W - Freebet)

Nice, good start.... Vautour led from start to finish.. always bet on an irish horse to win the first race.. especially with Ruby on..  ;D

Wow.. where the fuck did Western Warhorse come from.. 33/1 and beats Champagne Fever at the line.. bloody hell

Time for Rupert came absolutely nowhere lol

Cmon the Hurricane!  Bugger.. fell away at the end and finished 4th

Quevega came in.. JUST.. fucking lucky on that one.. but that's put me £20 in the black for today.

Suntiep still to run.. put my £30 free-bet on this outsider nag.. so could be huge profit if he comes in

Bollocks.. Suntiep was last pretty much the whole race, then he went mad for it and finished 3rd..another furlong and he would of won the bugger and I'd of been on for £200 on my free-bet.. as it was.. I only got £33.75 back from it - so stuck a fiver E/W on Present View in the last race.

Present View just nudges it !!  Phew.. Last 3 races have saved my day from being somewhat of a disaster.. made a profit of £75 ;D

But still pissed at Champagne Fever being beaten by a head from a total longshot and Suntiep not giving it enough time to mount a proper challenge - could of been so much more  >:(

If you fancy a flutter tomorrow.. I'm seriously considering Faugheen in the 1:30 race.. its the favourite.. but for a good reason, might find another betting website for a free bet on that one.

It wasn't Hurricane Fly that was put down...

Going for 3 tomorrow :

1:30 - Faugheen (2/1)
3:20 - Sire De Grugy (Coral offering 4/1 at 8:30 tomorrow)
5:15 - Shaneshill (13/2 - EW)

Faugheen is my banker.. he's an absolute beast - which is why he is favourite - but will make a profit if any of the first two come in.  Not touching the other races.. too many runners to pick from.

Faugheen wins by about 4-5 lengths.. bit wobbly on a couple of the last jumps made me wonder if he was gonna fall, but it powered through them.. put me £15 up for the day whatever the outcome of the other two races now.. I stuck £20 on Sire De Grugy as well so that would return £80 profit.. could be another good day  :D

Just added another small bet on todays action :
4:00 Balthazar King (5/1 EW)

Get in Sire De Grugy!! Romps home.. think it had a bit of a fortunate race though with 3 of the other close favourites all pulling up.. cant argue with Coral's generous 4-1 though.. and extra £80 profit  ;D

Mate you've got some serious luck. Buy me a lottery ticket!

So that's three outta three so far today, with one left to run?

Yep Balthazar King came in first.. I couldn't listen/watch the race so don't know how it went down... but I only stuck £2.50 EW on it.. got £20 back..

Just need Shaneshill to come in later for the clean sweep !!

Faugheen was the heavy favourite and Sire De Grugy went off as a heavy favourite too.. so not sure so much about luck.. but might have to buy a lottery ticket for the weekend just in case lol

If only you could go back to yesterday and make today's four bets an accumulator instead of four singles.

I don't know how much you staked on each race but if we say £10 on the nose for the first two and £5 each way on the last two, with the odds you've mentioned and assuming all four win: four single bets would cost £40 and earn £172; whereas an accumulator (also costing £40) would see you walking away from the bookies with £27'000.  :o

Still - that's hindsight and assumptions, eh!

lol.. I stuck £20 on the nose for the first 2, £2.50 EW on Balthy.. and £5 EW on Shaneshill...  (I actually got Faugheen at 5/2 - not 2/1 as I posted)

.. I was thinking today that I probably should of gone for a double on the first two as I thought they were come home with the bacon.. never mind.

I got a bit confused earlier with the odds and what I had staked.. but doing a quick count, profit-wise today I've made £145ish.. and to think I could be walking away with £43k on a £55 accumulator... I hope Shaneshill loses now so I don't feel so guilty about the accumulator.  ;D

Shaneshill came 2nd in the end.. Silver Concorde just had enough to hold him off and win by a length.. it was a pretty close race though..least I get some money back and don't feel too bad on missing out on the accumulator now :P  - Got £3.12 profit back on Shaneshill lol - well worth it !

Nice. Coming second was probably the best result for you all in all!
