Not really feeling much scope for any profit today at all..

Quite fancy Annie Power, but Paddy Power have a bet special on, if your horse finishes 2nd to Annie Power, they will refund your stake.. so I've got £10 on Big Bucks to win at 4/1 instead.

Might stick a few quid EW on a few horses later, but really haven't had to time to check out any of the races yet.

Gone with nearly a full line up - pretty much all low stakes today though

13:30 Wonderful Charm (9/2 - £2.50 EW)
14:05 Seefood (14/1 - £1 EW)
14:40 Hidden Cyclone (10/1 - £1 EW)
15:20 Big Bucks (4/1 - £10)
16:00 Firth of the Clyde (18/1 - £0.5 EW)

Wonderful Charm finished 5th.. never really in it to be honest.. oh well, I can't see much coming in today... its all about Big Bucks though.. looking forward to that race

Seefood finished nowhere.. was in the mix for a while and it was a very close fought race between quite a few horses.. but Seefood tired towards the end and drifted from the front runners - oh well :(

Hidden Cyclone finishes 2nd.. just couldn't hold off Dynaste.. who I didn't want to bet on as he let me down badly last year and this race was a longer distance.. still got something on the board at least.

Big Bucks - Big Disappointment.. think his Cheltenham days are over.. at least Annie Power didn't win.

£55 for the last day... gone for the full race card.. not bothering with double's, trebles or acc's.. cant be arsed..  won around £150 profit over this week even if none of these nags come in today.. (that's paid for a trip to the bridge for last home game of the season.. win anything today, said I'd buy my missus tickets for a broadway show when we are in NY later this year)

1:30 Guitar Pete - 8/1 (£5 EW)
2:05 Cheltenian - 8/1 (£5 EW)
2:40 Kings Palace - 10/3 (£7.50)
3:20 Bobs Worth - 7/2 (£10)
4:00 Oscar Delta - 9/1 (£2 EW)
4:40 Vieux Lion Rouge - 15/2 (£5 EW)
5:15 Tanks For That - 12/1 (£1.50 EW)

If you get a win today you need to go to a Broadway show?

Damn, dude. I've had my fingers crossed for you all week - but I'm not sure if I should today! ;)

Ahh its cool, I like the theatre.. well a few musicals anyway...it'd be part of her birfday present anyway as its not cheap!  Besides I have managed to convince her to go to a baseball game and do a tour of Madison Square Gardens out there.. so the cool stuff balances itself out with the mildly gay stuff  ;)

Guitar Pete finished 3rd.. pissed off because it was a toss-up between him and the winner Tiger Roll at 10/1.. looks like Ruby has broke his wrist in that race..  :-\  Luckily he's not riding on any of the horses I've already backed later on... Paddy Power had money back on 2nd/3rd in that race though.. so should get my E/W bet winnings plus my £5 win stake back on him..  Yep.. £15 for 1/4 EW odds plus £5 = £10 profit first race.

Ruby gone to hospital.. and as I predicted after the race yesterday, they retired Big Bucks.. wasn't a surprise.. not the horse he was.

Bugger Cheltenian was at the front with 1 jump to go and pulled up.. his price came in loads and he went off as a heavy favourite so there will be loads of annoyed punters.. still think I'll get a winner today... but annoyed I didn't go with Tiger Roll in the 1st race

Bit of a delay to the 2:40 race as a horse smashed into the railings on the run up and chucked his jockey off.. who looks really badly injured..  :-\

Another loser.. bloody Kings Palace led from the start.. but tired before the last fence and fell back to 5th.. then fell on the last fence anyway.. grrr... if Bobs Worth or Vieux Lion Rouge comes in I'll be in profit for the day.. so not a disaster just yet.

Bobs Worth finished 5th.. now I've got a feeling its not gonna be my day lol

Is the jockey the feller who won the previous race?
If so, he's having quite a day!

Yep.. he was also riding the favourite in the first race and his irons broke near the end of the race and he came nowhere.

Not the only one having a bad day.. 2 left to run.. got a good chance with Vieux Lion Rouge though I think.

Lol.. think Vieux Lion Rouge finished right near the back.. bollocks.. lost about £35 today.. would of been alright if I'd of had that first race winner.

The wife and kids and I have picked out a few names. No idea of the form, but they're all around 25/1 - 33/1. Will put a few quid on each of them e/w later today.
Big Shu
The Rainbow Hunter
Mr Moonshine
Shakalakaboomboom

Edit: odds were a little shorter than expected. BS 22/1, RH 25/1, MM 28/1, S 25/1.
£2.50 e/w on each.

Damn. NOW I find out there a jockey called Leighton. Would've had a few quid on my namesake had I known.

Oh well, lost some money but not a great deal because I put my gee gees on at each way. Put £2 each way on Teaforthree and Balthazar King and £1.87 each way on Monbeg Dude so got a tenner back. ;D
